RECIPE – Feeling Boba-licious!

Something about Coffee Boba makes it one of my absolute favourite ways to enjoy a cup of coffee. Making it is incredibly satisfying, and using any QuirkyMonkey coffee fusions ensures a Boba-Licious taste that inspires the senses. 

You will need

  • QuirkyMonkey coffee fusion of choice brewed
  • Tapioca Pearls
  • Milk of choice
  • Brown Sugar syrup to sweeten (it’s my guilty pleasure!)
  • Ice (if you wish to serve cold)

Step 1. Add 3 tablespoons of tapioca pearls into a saucepan with some water and cook for around 5 minutes until the pearls become translucent and float on top of the water. Drain and run under cold water to stop the pearls from cooking further and sticking together. Set aside in a clean bowl.

Step 2. Make your sugar syrup with one part water to one part sugar. Put the sugar and syrup into the saucepan and bring to a boil, continually mixing until dissolved, then remove from the heat.

Step 3. Add the tapioca pearls to the bottom of your glass, add ice, coffee, and sugar syrup to taste, and then pour over your milk of choice.
